Global Roots Canvas is on now.
This autumn, DIPACT brings together the work of five artists through a programme exploring identity, belonging, memory, displacement, wellbeing and lived experience.
The exhibition is currently showing at 1853 Studios, Oldham, until 29 September 2026, before moving to Bridge 5 Mill, Manchester, from 3–16 October 2026.
Global Roots Canvas features work by Mahrokh Mofidnakhaei, Daria Protsenko, Karolina Kanska, Gloria Saya and Vian Hussein. Developed through paid commissions, mentoring, workshops and community exchange, the programme supports each artist to strengthen their practice while creating opportunities for audiences and communities to encounter new ideas and perspectives.
For DIPACT, the exhibition is about more than presenting finished work. It is part of our wider commitment to investing in artists, creating meaningful paid opportunities, sharing leadership and building cultural spaces where different experiences and identities are visible and valued.
