Global Roots Canvas brings together five artists exploring identity, belonging, memory, displacement and lived experience through painting, photography, digital art, mixed media and participatory practice.
The exhibition is currently showing at 1853 Studios in Oldham until 29 September 2026, offering audiences the chance to discover work developed through the programme alongside its community workshops and creative exchanges.
From 3–16 October 2026, Global Roots Canvas continues at Bridge 5 Mill, Manchester, bringing the artists’ work together in a new setting and inviting audiences to experience the ideas, stories and creative journeys that have shaped the project.
